OpenAI has introduced a new Search Connectors feature for ChatGPT Pro and Team users, enabling integration with cloud storage services such as Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive, Box, and SharePoint. This update allows users to search, summarize, and analyze files directly within the ChatGPT interface without the need for uploads, enhancing workflow efficiency by bringing unique contextual information into everyday work. The rollout is currently available outside the European Economic Area, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom. Additionally, the file upload limit for Pro users has been increased from 20 to 40 files per project. The feature launched with support for 12 applications, including Box, Gmail, Outlook, and GitHub, reflecting OpenAI's broader vision for interoperability and AI-driven workspace integration.
