Squads Protocol has announced the development of the Squads Policy Network (SPN), which aims to enhance smart accounts on the Solana Virtual Machine (SVM) through distributed policy enforcement. The SPN will introduce granular transaction policies to on-chain smart accounts in a trustless and decentralized manner. This initiative is powered by Jito's (Re)staking infrastructure, which is already being utilized in production by Squads. The SPN is expected to change the on-chain custody landscape and unlock new possibilities for Squads users. A comprehensive whitepaper detailing the technical aspects of SPN will be released soon.

We often get asked what products jito (re)staking will enable that aren't possible today. SPN is the first example and should change the on-change custody landscape. Expect many more to come. https://t.co/elZTs9uBjy
