Trump Media and Technology Group on 7 July launched Truth+, a television-streaming service that is immediately available worldwide. The platform carries live channels and on-demand programming, with right-leaning news network Newsmax installed as its flagship channel. Truth+ can be accessed through apps for iOS and Android mobile devices, the web, and connected-TV ecosystems including Apple TV, Android TV, Amazon Fire and Roku. TMTG said apps for LG and Samsung smart-TVs will be released once approved, and that the company will continue beta testing while the roll-out progresses. Chief executive and chairman Devin Nunes said the expansion responds to global demand for alternative viewpoints and thanked Newsmax for partnering on the launch. Newsmax chief executive Chris Ruddy called the international push a natural extension of the relationship. The streaming debut marks the latest step in TMTG’s growth following the company’s recent IPO.
