Astronaut Don Pettit aboard the SpaceX Dragon spacecraft captured a unique 24-minute long exposure image showing star trails and Starlink satellites over the Pacific Ocean from the International Space Station (ISS). Additional remarkable views from the ISS include time-lapse footage of Earth showcasing auroras, city lights, and parts of the station in motion, as shared by NASA Johnson. Other notable images taken from space feature Antarctica, the River Nile, and a rocket launch captured by Riccardo Rossi from the ISS. The collection of recent space imagery highlights diverse perspectives of Earth and space phenomena, including a green aurora observed by astronaut Pettit.
