SpaceX conducted several key launches and preparations in July 2025 from its Florida facilities. On July 1, SpaceX launched the Meteosat Third Generation - Sounder 1 (MTG-S1) satellite, a geostationary weather satellite for the European Space Agency (ESA) and EUMETSAT, from Launch Complex 39A at Kennedy Space Center. The satellite is equipped with instruments to monitor weather and pollution over Europe. On July 16, SpaceX launched 24 Amazon Project Kuiper satellites aboard a Falcon 9 rocket from Florida, marking the KF-01 mission aimed at expanding Amazon's satellite broadband network. Later in the month, SpaceX moved Starship 38 to Massey’s facility to begin cryogenic testing. Additionally, SpaceX rolled out a Falcon 9 rocket and Dragon spacecraft to Launch Complex 39A in preparation for NASA’s Crew-11 mission to the International Space Station, with a scheduled launch no earlier than July 31. The Crew-11 mission will carry astronauts Cardman, Fincke, Yui, and Platonov to orbit.
