SpaceX successfully launched 28 Starlink internet satellites early Wednesday, lifting off at 03:37 UTC (23:37 EDT Tuesday) from Space Launch Complex 40 at Florida’s Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. The mission, designated Starlink Group 10-29, was carried to orbit by a Falcon 9 rocket flying with first-stage booster B1069. The booster completed its 26th flight, extending the company’s reusability record, before handing propulsion to the upper stage for orbital insertion. SpaceX confirmed payload deployment roughly one hour after liftoff, bringing the size of the low-Earth-orbit broadband constellation to more than 6,300 operational satellites, according to the company’s running tally.
