Space Exploration Technologies Corp. says its fully reusable Starship rocket will be used to deploy a new generation of Starlink V3 communications satellites, with each Starship mission expected to deliver more than 20 times the network capacity provided by the company’s current Falcon 9 launches. SpaceX disclosed the upgrade in a newly released video that offers an inside look at the Starlink manufacturing line in Redmond, Washington, highlighting expanded production capability for the heavier, higher-throughput satellites. The company did not specify a launch timetable, but the shift to Starship is intended to accelerate constellation build-out and improve service quality worldwide.
