Acciona has dismissed its director of Construction in Spain after a report by the Guardia Civil’s Central Operative Unit (UCO) linked the executive to an alleged kickback scheme known as the “trama Koldo.” The so-called Cerdán report accuses several intermediaries of rigging public-works tenders and funnelling illegal commissions. The infrastructure group said it has also terminated its collaboration with Navarre-based subcontractor Servinabar 2000 and is reviewing additional contracts flagged in the police dossier. Regional party Más Madrid has requested the appearance of Acciona chairman José Manuel Entrecanales in Parliament to explain the company’s role. The UCO investigation centres on former government adviser Koldo García and businessman Víctor Cerdán, who allegedly secured public contracts in exchange for illicit payments. Acciona stated it will cooperate fully with authorities as the probe continues.
