🚨BREAKING: The WNBA has mandated official self-defense classes in the wake of the recent dildo attacks https://t.co/RYUAdvpmLD
The real question is who is letting someone into the arena with green dildos repeatedly? https://t.co/Z9L0nQ6ica
The WNBA dildo thrower needs a name. Like the Green Goblin or Dr. Doom. Any ideas?
The WNBA is reviewing arena security after a sex toy was hurled onto the floor during the Golden State Valkyries’ 73–66 win over the Chicago Sky in Chicago on 1 Aug. 2025, the second such occurrence in less than a week. Play was halted in the third quarter when the object landed out of bounds beneath a basket and was removed by an official. “It’s super disrespectful,” Sky center Elizabeth Williams said. Valkyries forward Cecilia Zandalasini, who witnessed a similar incident during the team’s 77–75 victory over the Atlanta Dream on Tuesday, called the acts “super dangerous.” Liberty forward Isabelle Harrison urged venues to tighten checks, writing that throwing any object on court “is so dangerous.” The league has not yet announced disciplinary measures but said it is working with clubs and arena operators to prevent further disruptions.
