BREAKING: ZK meets the real world 🗞️ @Boundless_xyz just launched crypto's first live stress test for decentralized ZK infrastructure on @Base Backed by the EF, EigenLayer & Wormhole, it's a proof marketplace powered by @RISCZero — and Proof of Verifiable Work is live https://t.co/ZaPDhLAY6p
Blockchain start-up Boundless XYZ on 15 July launched the mainnet beta of its zero-knowledge interoperability network, introducing an application called “The Signal” that allows blockchains to exchange data without relying on trusted third-party bridges. The beta is running as a live stress test on Coinbase’s Base layer-2 network and incorporates a “Proof of Verifiable Work” marketplace built with RISC Zero technology. The approach uses succinct zero-knowledge proofs to verify transactions and messages across disparate chains, aiming to cut the risk of bridge exploits that have cost the industry billions of dollars. The rollout is backed by the Ethereum Foundation, EigenLayer, Wormhole and Optimism, underscoring a broader shift toward ZK-based scalability and interoperability solutions across the Ethereum ecosystem. Boundless said the test phase will gather performance data before a full public release.
