Elon Musk's The Boring Company has officially announced plans to build the Music City Loop, an approximately eight- to ten-mile underground tunnel system in Nashville, Tennessee. The system will shuttle passengers in Tesla vehicles, aiming to reduce traffic congestion and provide a transit time of about eight minutes. Preparations for the project have already begun, including the installation of a temporary fence on a 0.8-acre state-owned parking lot to serve as a base of operations. Separately, there are ongoing investigations related to racist graffiti and a noose found at the nearby Tennessee Titans stadium construction site. Additionally, reports have emerged describing The Boring Company as facing financial challenges, with some sources calling it a $900 million flop.
