
Decentralized education protocol Open Campus has announced the EDU Chain Hackathon Series, featuring a $1 million prize pool to promote decentralized app (dApp) development. The hackathon series will consist of three events, with Semester 1 focusing on DeFi and Infrastructure starting on July 15. Developers are encouraged to build dApps on the EDU Chain, with US$1 million worth of EDU tokens available as prizes. The event aims to attract top developers in the Web3 space to build the future of education on-chain. Hosted by DoraHacks, the hackathon will select 20 winners for the Semester 1 event, which has a $200,000 prize pool. This initiative is also referred to as the Codex Hackathon Series.
