Bullish Global, a cryptoasset exchange operator backed by billionaire Peter Thiel and managing $10 billion in assets, is considering an initial public offering (IPO) as soon as this year. The company is working with Jefferies Financial Group on the potential listing. Bullish had previously planned to go public in 2021 via a special purpose acquisition company (SPAC) but paused those plans. The move comes as the crypto market continues to surge, with the total market value reaching $3.15 trillion following Donald Trump's win in the U.S. election in November.
