CEA Industries Inc., a Canadian consumer-products company trading as VAPE on Nasdaq, said it has secured a $500 million private investment in public equity that could rise to $1.25 billion if attached warrants are fully exercised. Led by 10X Capital and backed by YZi Labs and more than 140 institutional investors including Pantera Capital, the deal will fund what the company calls the largest publicly listed treasury dedicated to BNB, the native token of Binance’s blockchain. VAPE shares jumped as much as 700% after the announcement; the financing is expected to close by July 31, after which the firm plans to begin accumulating BNB and explore staking and other yield-generating strategies. Separately, Tron Inc., a Justin Sun-backed vehicle for the TRX cryptocurrency, filed a shelf registration with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission to issue up to $1 billion of common stock, preferred stock, debt and warrants. The company said the proceeds will be used primarily to expand its holdings of TRX tokens and for general corporate purposes, adding to a $100 million TRX-linked private round raised earlier this year. The two announcements bring nearly $2 billion of fresh capital into alt-coin treasury strategies in a single day, underscoring mounting public-market demand for direct exposure to individual blockchain tokens. The push follows the playbook popularised by MicroStrategy’s Bitcoin purchases and comes as BNB trades near record highs and as issuers test investor appetite for regulated, single-asset crypto vehicles.
