SharpLink Gaming has added about 30,755 ether to its balance sheet in transactions valued at roughly $53.5 million between 3–4 August, according to blockchain monitoring services. The latest buy follows a series of purchases estimated at $100 million over the past two days. The sports-betting and i-gaming technology firm now holds 480,031 ether, worth close to $1.65 billion at prevailing market prices. The accumulation cements SharpLink’s position as one of the largest corporate holders of the world’s second-largest cryptocurrency. Analysts tracking the company say the aggressive build-up highlights management’s confidence in ether’s long-term prospects, but some warn that SharpLink’s share price already reflects optimistic assumptions about future crypto gains.
