Linux Foundation Embraces Open Model Initiative for AI

The Linux Foundation has announced its intention to become more involved with AI models by welcoming the Open Model Initiative (OMI). The initiative, which was launched earlier this summer, aims to assist creators in finding open AI models that are not restricted by licenses. This move is part of the Linux Foundation's broader efforts to promote openly licensed AI models.
