The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) has released four new documents aimed at enhancing the safety, security, and trustworthiness of AI systems. This initiative is part of a broader effort to comply with the 2023 AI Executive Order. The documents provide guidelines for reducing AI risks and include a challenge series to develop methods to differentiate between content produced by humans and AI. Additionally, the Homeland Security has established an AI Safety and Security Advisory Board to further support these goals.
