OpenAI has widely released a new 'Memory' feature for ChatGPT Plus users, enabling the AI to retain information across conversations and enhance user experience. This update allows users to have more personalized interactions by remembering details such as user preferences and past instructions. The feature is optional and can be toggled on or off in the settings. However, it is not available in Europe or Korea and does not yet extend to ChatGPT Team, Enterprise, or custom GPTs. Users have the option to wipe the Memory at any time, either through settings or by direct instruction to ChatGPT.
