UFC interim heavyweight champion Tom Aspinall said he has reached an agreement with the promotion on the timing and opponent for his next title defence following meetings in Las Vegas after the UFC 317 event. The 31-year-old Briton did not disclose the name of the challenger or the exact date, noting that the announcement will come from the organisation. Aspinall also told interviewer Adam Catterall that he hopes to compete four times over the next 12 months, signalling an unusually active schedule for a heavyweight champion. The bout will be his first since he captured the interim belt via first-round knockout of Sergei Pavlovich in November 2024.
