On July 9, 2025, a Ukrainian Air Force MiG-29 fighter jet conducted precision airstrikes against Russian positions in the eastern sector of the conflict zone. The aircraft deployed four American-made GBU-39 guided bombs, successfully targeting Russian deployment sites. Additional footage confirmed the MiG-29 releasing a salvo of GBU-39 small diameter bombs (SDB). Separately, Ukrainian forces using French AASM HAMMER guided aerial bombs destroyed a building housing Russian infantry in the northern area. Meanwhile, Russian forces launched three FAB-500 bombs with UMPK on the 210th assault regiment of the Ukrainian Armed Forces near Vladimirovka. Ukrainian Skhid Air Command units also reported destruction of Russian air targets during ongoing operations.
