On the night of July 11, 2025, Ukraine experienced a large-scale aerial assault involving over 250 drones, including more than 160 "Geran" (Shahed-type) drones, according to Ukrainian monitoring channels. The attack was supported by Russian strategic bombers, with five Tu-95MS and one Tu-160 aircraft launching missiles over Ukrainian territory. Additionally, a MiG-31K equipped with hypersonic "Kinzhal" missiles was reported to have taken off. Ukrainian air defenses were actively engaged in countering the drone incursions and missile threats.
