Lockheed Martin has launched an initiative called "AI Fight Club," which aims to bring together leading teams from the defense and technology sectors to develop and test artificial intelligence models in realistic battlefield simulations. These simulations are designed to meet the Pentagon’s standards for defense applications and accelerate the deployment of military-ready AI technologies. The first AI Fight Club battle is planned for the last quarter of 2025. Additionally, Google is working on creating digital twins of various battlefields, which could be used to deter potential invasions, such as one of Taiwan. The initiative reflects a broader effort by top defense and tech companies to use powerful AI-generated battlefield simulations to prevent global conflicts.
