Additionally, a federal judge authorized a $2,200 refund to a Jan. 6 rioter who was pardoned by Trump, stating that the judge was compelled by law to issue the refund despite any personal reservations. This refund is the first of its kind following 47 presidential clemencies granted to Jan. 6 political prisoners.
