The U.S. Supreme Court is expected to issue a series of major decisions throughout June 2025 as it approaches the end of its current term by early July. Over the next five weeks, the Court plans to release approximately 34 rulings, covering a range of high-profile cases. Among these are U.S. v. Skrmetti, which addresses the constitutionality of state bans on gender-affirming medical treatments for transgender minors, specifically challenging laws in Tennessee and Kentucky. Another significant case, Medina v. Planned Parenthood, will determine whether pro-life states such as South Carolina can defund abortion providers and redirect Medicaid funds to alternative life-affirming care. The Court is expected to begin releasing opinions imminently, with decisions anticipated to come rapidly as the term concludes.
