
A16Z's early-stage accelerator program, Speedrun, is closing its application window today, Sept. 30. The program, which invests $750,000 in each selected startup, targets companies at the intersection of technology and gaming. Speedrun's 12-week program will run from January to March in San Francisco, offering participants access to luminary speakers, expert office hours, and a community of founders. The initiative has received nearly 10,000 applications across its first three cohorts and focuses on areas such as interactive video, AI, and game technology for real-world simulations. Participants will also have the opportunity to pitch at a Demo Day to top tier angels.
