Binance has announced the 68th project on its Launchpool, Initia (INIT), an Omnichain rollups network. Users can farm 30,000,000 INIT tokens, representing 3% of the total supply, by staking BNB, FDUSD, and USDC starting from April 18, 2025, at 00:00 UTC for a period of 6 days. Binance will list INIT on its platform on April 24, 2025, at 11:00 UTC. Initia aims to create a unified blockchain experience by combining Layer 1 orchestration with customizable Layer 2 rollups, addressing the fragmentation in the blockchain ecosystem. The project has already secured significant funding, including a pre-seed round from YZi Labs in October 2023 and a total of $24 million in disclosed funding. Its A round valuation reached $3.5 billion, and the community round was valued at $2.5 billion, with the FDV set for the Binance listing.
