Eve, a legal AI platform focused on plaintiff law firms, has raised $47 million in a Series A funding round led by Andreessen Horowitz, with participation from Lightspeed Venture Partners and Menlo Ventures. The company, which aims to help law firms become AI-native, has experienced significant growth, reporting a fivefold increase in revenue over the past eight months and an 800% increase in its customer base within a year. In the last eight months, Eve has partnered with 80 new law firms. CEO Jay Madheswaran stated that the platform is committed to helping plaintiff law firms fight strategically for their clients. Eve's platform is designed to assist legal teams throughout the entire case lifecycle, from intake and evaluation to litigation, by streamlining workflows and enhancing productivity. The funding will be used to support rapid market expansion, enhance product development, and further the company's mission to transform legal practice with AI technology, with a particular focus on personal injury firms.
