Fei-Fei Li, known as the 'Godmother of AI,' has built a startup called World Labs that has reached a valuation of $1 billion in just four months. The company aims to create 'spatial intelligence' in AI by developing humanlike processing of visual data. World Labs, founded in April 2024, has raised approximately $100 million in its latest funding round. Investors include Andreessen Horowitz and Radical Ventures, a Canadian fund where Li is also a scientific partner.
