
FrodoBots has secured $8 million in funding to develop the BitRobotNetwork, a project aimed at integrating robotics with cryptocurrency on the Solana blockchain. The initiative, which focuses on advancing embodied artificial intelligence (AI), is led by Protocol Ventures and supported by several venture capital firms, including Big Brain VC, Fabric VC, Zee Prime Capital, Tioga Capital, Sfermion, Permanent VC, Stateless VC, and nim network. The project aims to create an open-source platform for distributed robotics research, with over 100 robots already deployed across more than 30 cities. Additionally, FrodoBots has partnered with DeepMind for cutting-edge research in this field.
