iCandy Interactive, in collaboration with ZKsync developer Matter Labs, has launched ZKcandy, a new Ethereum layer-2 network focused on mobile gaming. The mainnet launch follows a successful testnet phase that saw the creation of 2.46 million wallets. ZKcandy is part of the Elastic Chain, alongside other interoperable ZKsync-powered layer-2 networks such as Abstract and Cronos. ZKcandy aims to integrate blockchain technology with AI to enhance gaming experiences, offering features like dynamic storylines and unique non-player characters. Eight games, including 'Pepe Kingdom', 'Sugar Rush', and 'Candy Defense', are now available on the platform. The launch was supported by a $4 million seed round led by Wemix and Animoca Ventures. ZKcandy plans to use 5% of its native token supply for promotional campaigns and will launch a grant program for developers to foster growth and partnerships.
