Sakana AI, co-founded by former Google researchers, aims to establish a world-class AI research lab in Japan, focusing on nature-inspired AI, data centers, and democratizing AI technology in the country. The funding will accelerate Sakana AI's research, development of AI models for Japanese speakers, and infrastructure projects, and build an AI community.
