Venture capital firm Paradigm has led a $11.6 million Series A investment in Kuru Labs, the developer of Kuru Exchange, an on-chain central limit order-book (CLOB) trading platform built on the forthcoming Monad blockchain. Electric Capital, Credibly Neutral and several angel investors joined the round. Kuru aims to deliver high-speed, low-latency trading by leveraging Monad’s architecture, which is designed to process up to 10,000 transactions per second. The fresh capital will be used to expand the team and accelerate product development ahead of Monad’s mainnet launch, positioning Kuru as an early flagship decentralized exchange on the network.
