Plenful, an AI-powered healthcare automation platform, has raised $50 million in a Series B funding round. The round was co-led by Danaher co-founder Mitchell Rales, who also joined Plenful's board, and Arena Holdings. With this latest funding, Plenful has raised a total of $76 million to date. The company, founded by CEO Joy Liu, focuses on automating manual and error-prone workflows in healthcare, particularly in pharmacy operations, aiming to reduce paperwork and improve patient care. Plenful currently serves 60 healthcare organizations and has experienced a fourfold year-over-year revenue growth. Additionally, other AI healthcare startups have recently secured funding, including AMPLY Discovery, which raised $1.75 million for AI drug discovery, and SafeHeal, which closed an oversubscribed €35 million Series C financing. Stately Bio also emerged from stealth mode with a $12 million seed round to develop AI methods for cell study.
