Slip Robotics, an Atlanta-based robot-as-a-service startup, has successfully raised $28 million in Series B funding, led by DCVC. The funding aims to enhance the company's innovative robotic solutions designed to expedite the loading and unloading of truck trailers. Currently, Slip Robotics has hundreds of robots deployed at various customer sites, including notable companies such as John Deere, Nissan, Valeo, and General Electric. The deployment of these robots has reportedly improved dock operations and safety by more than tenfold, addressing a critical inefficiency in the supply chain related to truck loading and unloading.
