Israeli cybersecurity startup Sola has emerged from stealth with $30 million in seed funding co-led by S Capital and veteran investor Mike Moritz. The company aims to simplify cybersecurity by offering an AI-powered, no-code platform that allows businesses to create and deploy customized security applications without extensive technical expertise or large budgets. Founded by Guy Flechter, former CEO of Cider Security, and Ron Peled, former Global CISO of LivePerson, Sola seeks to address inefficiencies in managing up to 50 separate security tools by providing a streamlined platform. The platform includes pre-built applications, such as an AWS Network Security app, and tools for customizing solutions to meet specific security needs. Sola's approach, described as the 'Stripe for security,' is inspired by companies like Stripe and Canva. The funding, which also included contributions from S32 LP and Glilot Capital Partners, will be used to expand its product offerings and accelerate market adoption.
