Language learning app Speak has secured $20 million in a Series B funding round, doubling its valuation to $500 million. The funding round was led by internal investors, including notable figures and organizations such as Josh Buckley, OpenAI, Paul Graham, Jeff Weiner, and Khosla Ventures. Speak, which has been leveraging AI for language education since 2018, now boasts 10 million users. The company has received early backing from Founders Fund.
