StakeStone, a liquidity staking derivatives basket (LSDb) token backed by ETH staking yield, has received an undisclosed amount of funding from Animoca Ventures. StakeStone aims to unlock omnichain liquidity for music rights, gaming IP, and real-world assets (RWAs) across more than 20 blockchains and over 100 protocols, transforming yield into creative fuel for the next generation of Web3 consumer economies. The company has also collaborated with Puffer Finance on security measures. In a separate development, Analog, an omnichain interoperability protocol, has raised $15 million in a token round led by Bolts Capital. This latest funding brings Analog's total raise to $36 million, with previous support from investors including Tribe Capital, Orange DAO, NEAR Protocol, and Samara AG. The funds will be used to accelerate the rollout of key features. Symbiotic, a cryptocurrency staking protocol and restaking competitor to EigenLayer, has successfully closed a $29 million Series A funding round. The round was led by Pantera Capital and Coinbase Ventures, with participation from over 100 angel investors, including major industry players like Aave, Polygon, and StarkWare. The funds will support the launch of Symbiotic's Universal Staking Framework, which aims to bolster blockchain security across various networks through a new economic coordination layer. Networks such as Hyperlane, Spark, and Avail have already adopted this framework, with 20 more expected to follow.
We led the Series A for @hyperlane because they’re solving one of the biggest problems in crypto right now: interoperability. Congrats to the Hyperlane team on the recent token debut. Our investment thesis🧵
