UK-based Space Forge, a company focused on manufacturing ultra-efficient semiconductors and other advanced materials in orbit, has secured a record-breaking £22.6 million (approximately $30 million) Series A funding round. The round was led by the NATO Innovation Fund and included backing from the World Fund, NSSIF, British Business Bank, Space VC, and Gaingels VC. This funding will support Space Forge's plans to launch manufacturing satellites capable of producing materials that are difficult or impossible to create on Earth. The £22.6 million Series A is the largest ever raised by a UK space technology company.
