VanEck, Brevan Howard Lead $5 Million Seed Extension for Legion

Crypto fundraising platform Legion has secured a $5 million extended seed round led by VanEck US and Brevan Howard Digital, with additional backing from Coinbase Ventures, Kraken, Crypto.com Capital, GSR, Bitscale Capital and others. The new capital lifts the company’s total funding to roughly $7 million since its 2024 seed raise. Legion, which allows accredited and retail investors to participate in on-chain fund-raises, said the proceeds will support the rollout of tokenized equity and other new asset classes as institutional interest in blockchain-based capital markets grows. The company positions itself as an infrastructure provider for what supporters describe as a multi-trillion-dollar migration of private assets onto crypto rails.
