Maduro Backs Bolivia, Calls for Binational Zone No.1; Venezuela Reports Arrests, Weapons Seizure, Padrino López Warns US

Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro expressed strong support for Bolivia during the bicentennial celebration of its republic's founding, affirming Venezuela's commitment to Bolivia's future paths of resistance and emancipation. Maduro emphasized Bolivia's historical connection to Simón Bolívar and highlighted the importance of sovereignty, national unity, and peace as priority transformations for Venezuela. He also called for the activation of Binational Zone No. 1 to promote Colombian-Venezuelan unity. Maduro reaffirmed the legacy of Hugo Chávez in creating a new political ideology free from imperialist influence. Meanwhile, Venezuela's Interior Minister Diosdado Cabello reported the arrest of two individuals in Sucre state linked to terrorist operations, the seizure of weapons intended for counterrevolutionary activities, and ongoing destabilization plans by the extreme right. Defense Minister Vladimir Padrino López issued a warning to the United States against intervention, emphasizing the unity of the Venezuelan Armed Forces and the people. Additionally, Maduro met with governors and mayors from the Great Patriotic Pole Simon Bolivar and the United Socialist Party (PSUV) to establish strategic guidelines for the country.
