The Venezuelan government, led by President Nicolás Maduro, has imposed a nationwide ban on the use, sale, purchase, and training of drones for an initial period of 30 days, with the possibility of extension. This prohibition applies to all drones, including remotely piloted aircraft (RPA) and aeromodels, except for those operated by state security and defense forces.
