Google has introduced the Pixel Buds 2a, its latest wireless earbuds priced at $129. The new model features active noise cancellation (ANC), integration with Google's Gemini app for hands-free operation, and a replaceable battery in the charging case. Powered by the Tensor A1 chip, the Pixel Buds 2a offer up to seven hours of playback on a single charge with ANC enabled, extending to 20 hours with the charging case. The earbuds also include a twist-to-adjust stabilizer for a customizable fit and are designed to be smaller, lighter, and more comfortable. Available for pre-order starting August 20, the Pixel Buds 2a will be released on October 9. While they represent a more affordable option compared to the Pixel Buds Pro 2, some compromises in features are noted. The earbuds have been well received for delivering quality sound and noise cancellation at a competitive price point.
