Higgsfield AI Launches WAN 2.2 for Faster Video and Image Generation

Higgsfield AI has released WAN 2.2, a new open-source generative model that produces both video and still images. The company says the implementation is the fastest available version of WAN 2.2 and comes pre-loaded with more than 30 so-called “viral” creative presets that can be applied with a single click. The model went live on 21 August and is available directly through the Higgsfield platform. Early user demonstrations highlight near-instant rendering times and a range of stylistic effects, including a heavily shared “ahegao” filter. Higgsfield is promoting the launch as a proof point for its focus on speed and ease of use in AI-driven content creation.
