Google has moved its Veo 3 and Veo 3 Fast generative-video models from limited preview to general availability on the Vertex AI cloud platform, broadening access for developers and corporate customers worldwide. The new Veo 3 Fast variant is tuned for speed, producing 1080p, eight-second clips with native audio that can be iterated rapidly for advertising, product demonstrations and training modules. An image-to-video feature that animates still pictures will enter public preview in August. Adoption has been brisk: Google says users have generated more than 70 million videos with Veo 3 since the model debuted at I/O in May, including about 6 million clips created by enterprise clients during the public preview. Early corporate users such as Canva and L’Oréal are integrating the technology into marketing workflows. To address deep-fake concerns, every frame carries an invisible SynthID watermark, and Google is extending indemnity protections to customers facing potential intellectual-property claims arising from content produced with the models.
