OpenAI has opened registration for its second annual DevDay, scheduled for 6 October 2025 at Fort Mason Center in San Francisco. The developer conference will feature a keynote by Chief Executive Officer Sam Altman, presentations from product teams and technical deep-dives into the company’s application-programming interfaces and tools. The opening keynote will be livestreamed, while other sessions will be recorded and posted online. Because on-site capacity is limited to roughly 1,500 participants, OpenAI is accepting applications through 30 July and will allocate tickets by lottery rather than on a first-come basis. Selected applicants will be notified in mid-August and must pay a US$650 registration fee. The company said the format is intended to broaden access and ensure a diverse mix of developers, media and researchers.
