Enhance said its beat-driven puzzle title “Lumines Arise” will launch on 11 November for PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam, marking the first full sequel to the cult PSP franchise in nearly two decades. Pre-orders for the standard and digital-deluxe editions opened today, with PlayStation Plus members offered a 10% discount that brings the PSN price to $35.99. To promote the announcement, the studio released a free, one-week demo that is available now through 3 September on both platforms. The sampler features three stages from the single-player Journey mode and debuts “Burst Battle,” an online head-to-head variant that lets players send obstructive blocks to rivals. Difficulty is locked to Easy and progress won’t carry over to the final game. The full release will ship with more than 35 stages, additional single-player challenges and optional PlayStation VR2 support at launch. The digital-deluxe package adds four exclusive in-game avatars, including a crossover appearance by Sony’s Astro Bot, alongside items themed after Enhance’s earlier titles “Tetris Effect,” “Rez Infinite” and “Humanity.”
