
Meta has restructured its Reality Labs division into two groups: Wearables and Metaverse, according to an internal memo reported by The Verge. This move aims to create an integrated product experience across hardware, software, and experiences. The restructuring includes merging the Quest team into the Metaverse product group and the AR team into the Wearables group. A small number of employees were laid off as part of the restructuring. The company is reportedly increasing its investment in Ray-Ban smart glasses and other wearable technologies.
