The Royal Government of Bhutan moved 137 Bitcoin, worth about $14.75 million, from a wallet identified with state-owned investment arm Druk Holding & Investments to the Binance exchange on 30 June, according to on-chain data services. Despite the transfer, the government-linked wallet still holds roughly 11,924 BTC valued at approximately $1.28 billion, highlighting that the sale represents a small fraction of the Himalayan kingdom’s cryptocurrency reserves. A similar outbound transaction of around 100 BTC was recorded on 9 December 2024.
