Powerledger, an Australian energy technology company and a 2016 Ethereum project, has announced its expansion into the Solana mainnet ecosystem. This move aims to bring Powerledger's expertise in energy and sustainability to the Solana blockchain, driving the future of Regenerative Finance (ReFi) and sustainability. The announcement was made at Breakpoint 2024, where Alan Chang, a former Revolut executive, unveiled Project Zero, a blockchain-based solution to global energy challenges. The project has raised $90 million to develop a decentralized energy network on Solana.
