Optimism has unveiled its Superchain Vision, aiming to enhance Ethereum's capabilities through a network of sovereign chains governed by Optimism Governance. As part of this initiative, Optimism announced Airdrop #5, distributing over 10 million OP tokens to more than 54,000 unique addresses. This airdrop targets users who have interacted with at least 20 unique contracts on the Superchain. Approximately 550 million OP tokens remain for future airdrops. The Superchain ecosystem includes major entities such as Coinbase, Sony, and Uniswap, along with over 300 other applications. The Superchain aims to create a decentralized governance system and promote user ownership of the internet. Layer3 users, Swan Chain addresses, and Fraxtal super users are among those eligible for the airdrop.
